2016 P1 Registration Exercise for 2017 In-Take

We need to apply for 2Cs as being ballot out from CF. Now we are also no clue which schools shall we go for.


Were thinking of YPS but their seat only 37 left. It may not be a good choice for us because it will risk for balloting again in phase 2Cs. We afraid we will be opt out again and go to Phase 3.

Currently my area only near to CF, YPS, Xishan & Northview ( <1km ), AIP is within 2km. Northview already full.

Anyone has any idea about Xishan? Really depressed and looking for some advice.

Even if you get balloted out in 2CS, you will still get it settled before Phase 3 starts. No worry about that.

What does it mean? If ballot out from 2Cs, we will still able to apply to other schools before Phase 3 start? I thought we must wait for the registration date open.

From MOE website :

Should any Singaporean child be unsuccessful during Phase 2C Supplementary, the parents can seek MOE’s assistance to facilitate admission for the child to a primary school with remaining vacancies. This will be done before Phase 3 registration begins.

for me i will take waterway or punggol cove.. higher chance ..
reason is simple .. i have tried my luck on ballot in phase 2c and din get it .. meaning lady luck is not with me .. so i will just take the safest route ..

remember all school are good school ..

I didnt try compassvale . we reviewed the numbers of registration on the last day there are alot of applicants for compassvale so .. we changed school on the last day and went to HIPS instead cos their numbers of applicants is lower compared to past years so we reckon must be the move to amk .. so we placed our bet on HIPS and got in

HIPS move to AMK? is it holding sch - no wonder this yr HIPS got vacancies in 2C .

yah . they moving to temp location for 2 years .. my guess that is the main reason why the take up so low this year ..

thanks ... if u ask i still prefer compassvale for convenient :rotflmao:
AMK quite far ..from my place.. but lucky primary 1-2 is in the afternoon so no need to wake up early for school bus and no morning rush hour
