Which brand of ceiling fan is good? Anyone using KDK and Elmark can feedback on their ceiling fan.

I use kdk ceiling w/o light for close to 20 years. It is still working well despite we switch in almost daily

My parents have a KDK ceiling fan which has been in daily use since 1972! I have 4 Elmark ceiling fans, 3 of which have been used daily (1 is in the spare room so less used) since 1999. My parents' KDK doesn't have a light; 3 of my Elmark ones have a fluorescent ring light. The only grouse I have is that the blades get corroded over time, and although the fans work well, they look ugly when they are off. They are also hard to clean and never look clean!

We seldom clean our ceiling fans so there is black dirt collected but we dont bother at all
