Yes. The graceland at hougang CC. They stopped their operation end of June. Heard that the renovation will be done after 2 years and that will be the time where HIPS moves back to their original site.


I used to be a FTWM but now work freelance so I can fetch my girl to school. Last time, I sent my elder girl to Graceland in the morning then I left for work. Graceland will take care of her by letting her do assessment books/past year exam papers (near to term test), learning spelling & tingxie etc. After lunch, the teachers will bring them to school. Then, ard 6.30pm I will pick her from school.

As for the Pro-teach at Hougang Ave 6, you better check with them as mostly operate in 1 session which is afternoon. In hougang area, only left HIPS is operated in double session. Hence, they will not open in the morning.

Yes, we cannot send them to other in house student care in other school.

my mom say hougang cc is trying to convert it into elder + children care area ..so shutting down for renovation. then graceland did not find any temp site ?

u mean they will bring them to school .. that is very good ... then i can consider that .. after they move back to current premise .. my worry is always on logistic

For the Hougang CC going to convert into elder + children care area, I not too sure.

But according to student care teacher at Graceland, they have no intention to look for any temp site. This is what I very sad lor. I really like them and the way they handle kids. Very firm and give a lot of work. hahaha!

Even remaining student care centres, morning star and careland, they do send the kids to school. So long is walking distance.

I quit my full time job to work freelance. hence, currently, I am the one looking after my elder and send her to school.

i just got reply from school

The P1 Admin day will be held either on 18 or 19 October 2016. they will be sending out a letter to inform parents before the Admin day and they will provide more details on the following

1)Purchase of P1 books & order of name tag

2) Sale of uniforms & PE attires

3) School bus arrangement

4) Completion of MOE Pupil Data Form

no news on student care … so still pending for information from school
