Well done to your dd, Janet. It is really a feat - these Prelim papers. I am relieved that my dd managed to pass her math. I told her to not give up.
she passed English and Math.
it could be a number of factors because she has extra time for her exams.
It is the last lap now, keep going to all dd and ds.
Any dd and ds need to go back to school for lessons next week during the Sept school holidays? -
My dd was affected with her Prelim results. To make things worse, I just got to know that if you get <20 marks for either Eng or Maths, you got to retake PSLE. :nailbite:

Maybe the exam stress got to her and also, trying to complete the paper within the given time, she may have been careless when interpreting the questions.janet88:

Congrats to all parents here, whose children performed beyond expectations for the prelims.
It will be another 4-5 weeks of hard work, before drawing the curtains down.
May I wish all parents here a positive journey ahead!

I am doubtful of this because I know of someone whose child did badly for PSLE. The child failed all subjects for PSLE and all along, didn't manage to get beyond 2 digits for all Math tests (Foundation Math). This child is happily settled in Northlight and didn't have to retake PSLE. -
