My dd was affected with her Prelim results. To make things worse, I just got to know that if you get <20 marks for either Eng or Maths, you got to retake PSLE. :nailbite:

      oh really!
Retake same year or another year?

It is written in the school handbook. Repeat P6.

I am doubtful of this because I know of someone whose child did badly for PSLE. The child failed all subjects for PSLE and all along, didn't manage to get beyond 2 digits for all Math tests (Foundation Math). This child is happily settled in Northlight and didn't have to retake PSLE.

            clarify -
apply to only English or Maths subjects, or apply to any of the 4 subjects ?

What if Science or Chinese, less than 20 marks ?
also need to re-take Psle ?

Know of a few kids who failed PSLE. They retook PSLE at same primary school (repeat P6 following year).

School handbook. There has all along been repeat cases for PSLE. It has never been an auto promotion.

Thought they have 3 chances to retake PSLE?

Maybe can repeat 2 times if not over-aged, according to this link. See Pg 28.
