Your chances are very good. But it's the dragon year, so all bets are off.Hi all,i am newbie here.My girl was born in dragon year too.She is SPR and we are staying at Yishun.
I know that she does not have chance for Chongfu and Northland.
Yishun Primary is my first choice because it's near my house.I studied from the last few years registration history this school does not need balloting.
Is it possible for me to get a seat for my girl under phase 2C.I am worry because there's alot dragon baby.
Thanks.
Better to consider your standby and be prepared to change if needed. -
Hi everyone,
Would appreciate your thoughts on my options! Thank you!
My boy is a dragon baby born 2012 (yes super kiasu)
#1: St hildaβs primary via phase 2B (church), but have to move within 1km for at least 2 years
#2: Ngee ann primary via phase 2C, within 1km of my current residence.
Iβve seen the balloting history and option 1 seems quite safe so that is my preferred choice of school even though itβs a lot of money to move/rent. -

Both options are feasible basing on the past history. Keep monitoring for any change. You should not be in the correct thread if born 2012. 2018 for 2019 intake? -
No blu-milk u are not super kiasu u just want best for ur child. My son is tiger boy so actually a lot of school seats depend on which school . Some good school escape balloting within 1km. U are doing the right thing by planning early.

Anyone applying PV in Chongfu? Its 80 hours boy, dunno can clock within the year anot. Registration start le.
-
Moving to Tampines soon and had applied for PV at St Hilda's Primary. Tomorrow is the briefing 11.30am to 1.30pm and its not even selected yet, just briefing only

Else to make things simple, we can just put dragon #1 to Gongshang whereby hubby is an old boy there. -
Mine also born in the year of dragon but the first boy
Tough year cos wil fall in phase 2c but hopfully can apply for pv so that can level up to phase2b -

Hello all,
Kiasu newbie here but would appreciate your thoughts. I have a SPR dragon baby girl (born March 2012) and am starting to think of the best school and housing options for us for the coming years. Our lease is up for renewal next year and we want to move to a landed house for a long-term rent on the East Coast - ideally around Katong/Siglap, but we'd consider other areas if it makes sense in combination with school choice. What is the likelihood of getting a spot at one of these schools? Are they all likely to go to balloting or is there a sure bet among them for a PR, even if living more than 2kms away? Which would you choose? Any other pointers on the best combination of house location and choice of school?
:thankyou:
