Same here. A few years back, someone organised a bonfire to burn the textbooks after psle. My dc were appalled.

still remember that. it was in 2012.

Do you throw away the pile of completed test papers, school workbook, right after the subject is over?

school workbooks hardly serve any purpose...but still keep until the school year is over. same for test papers and completed assessment books because I want to go through mistakes made before exams.

I'm in exact same situation as you, but at least i'm glad it is one big burden off my shoulders. My younger one will probably have a happy SA2 revision with me since mummy will be smiling more often due to POST PSLE!

I throw away once the mistakes have been reviewed after marking. Some reference books have already been given away.

No space to keep, no time to repeat cycles.

psle is definitely not childish...it is my main focus. the older one is off my radar where studying is concerned but have to monitor him for fatigue.

just when o levels are over...the psle results will come in at the end of nov.
it's jialat this year but after the 'fireworks', it's a big break for all of us...and time to dye my hair.

Great that your DS is mature, knows what he wants and works for it. I doubt I can help my DD once she starts Sec 1 next year.

It seems just not too long ago that we started the ' 10 months to PSLE' countdown, and here we are now counting down the last five days to THE DAY.

I think I can still help daughter for history in sec 1...that's about it. Math and science would require hubby's help. English tuition will continue.


Son said to continue she would have to continue with Math questions even after her PSLE as she cannot forget the foundation.

When we first started PSLE 2016 discussion, it was just months ago and it was less than 1 year. Now we are down to just 4 days before the real thing. Really cant imagine even my younger one will be done with PSLE soon and going on to secondary school. Yes, this year is super jialat...my brain has been jammed with tuition dates, planning revision schedules and simple meals. No offence but better than PSLE this year and O level next year. My hair will be all white.
