Esp my dd has dyslexia, she needs longer time to read and understand the qns. Anyway, we focus on paper 1 to get the marks, dont want to stress her with paper 2.

focusing on Science MCQ. Paper 2 is an achievement if she can get 20 marks šŸ™

        Oh My Gosh:

DS only have a WL so I told him he still have to work hard in case his WL not converted... :stupid:

For WL to be converted into CO : does it depend on Psle results performance ?

Thought conversion of WL into CO : no need to depend on performance of psle results, as long as pass minimum Express requirement, but rather depend on the number of vacancies left, after those CO reject the school, thus giving rise to WL to enter.

If all CO accept : no vacancy arise, then WL won't be converted.

Conversion of WL to CO is not dependent on the T score - it depends on the number of COs given up.
Hence, I told DS to work hard, so that if it is not converted, he has to fall back on his T-score to apply under S1 exercise.

But, if some CO reject, then Yes, vacancy arise, hence WL gets converted

You also need to know : how many WL are offered, by the school vs how many CO reject, to know what's your chance like

However in the event nobody give up CO, all accept, then Yes, S1 posting will rely on tscore

Ammonite, you are right! The extra time given is not really sufficient as they are kids who are slow in their thinking process and thus need longer time.

too often, kids are stumped with math paper. Paper 1 only given 50 minutes, so each question is just 1 minute and have to move on. 18 math word problems will require time to understand and process the working. to complete within 100 minutes is not easy at all.

Primary School Maths has always been challenging and my kids struggled with PSLE Maths.

Parents will be happy to know that Secondary School Maths is much easier to manage as the questions are more realistic and practical.

My son went to school today. He told me his teacher went through relaxing random English revision with them. He was kind of enjoying it. May be his teacher tried to play down towards exam for tomorrow. Not a bad idea to go to school today.

parents please ensure your child has sufficient nutrition and rest, I heard someone in DD class came down with high fever yesterday!!

DS did this weekend. I can tell you I aged 3 years in these 3 days 😢
He is better today but has a cough and is feeling week. Worried about the aircon but comparing his condition to that on Sunday, I am relieved he can sit and write . :xedfingers:
