I didn't even dare ask her what are her answers to the questions posted here. She asked me a couple of questions herself and they were incorrect ... mistakes which she should/would not have made normally.

Never had the intention to 'check' answers/questions. She asked me a couple of questions and I just gave her my answer, that's it. After that, I think she didn't want to ask anymore and I didn't probe.

Normally, I will just ask my DD if she finds the paper tough, easy or manageable.


If she says tough, I'll tell her its okay. Just concentrate on preparing for the next paper well then. Don't dwell on those past questions. I'll try not to ask her the questions she had done because I think it would stress me & her if we find out what she had answered were incorrect.

Same as me. I will also just ask and reply its okay. At least to loose some pressure. Kept in the heart for too long will make the child think unnecessary.

Should this not be in past tense?[/quote]With the word \"arrives\" I assume that we are not supposed to change to past tense.I may need to add a \"s\" to panic as \"host\" is singular.

it's not a good idea to recount mistakes at this point because it is just the start of the exam period and there are many more fights to come. It will only demoralise your DD. Forget about the English papers and focus on the upcoming exams that you can still can control the outcome.

I agree. Once a paper is over, try not to dwell on your child's answers. Ask her to forget the exam she just sat for and focus on her next paper.
