I like your DS ending......it gives suspense. Makes me want to read more. I think he is fine.

Haha... you watch too much shows. Even in shows, at the end of the day, the secret and the culprits is still revealed right?

Anyway, I did not say it is out point, it is just slightly off topic. But as I said, as long as the flow is there and the feelings properly written, the compo will still be a good one.

not all secrets in life, can be disclosed.
Some secrets : enter coffin with them, ie. nobody know

in drama, recall one where if is Heavenly secret, cannot disclose : wait God punish (if disclose).
Even the astronomer also dare not disclose to the current king (when questioned) :
who is the next king, after he die ?

imagine you're the examiner marking his script. You dare not even penalize him for not disclosing, because there must be a reason behind why he cannot disclose, hence he end with such suspense !

Aiyo... all characters in my DS Compo were boys....secrets revealed also by boys when the picture given was 2 girls..:stupid: don't know how much will b deducted for this.. any idea from anyone :?

Almighty, pic 1 is on the 2 girls whispering away. Pic 2 is an envelope with the word secret stamped on it. So is ok to have the characters all boys... means using Pic 2 instead of Pic 1. No worries.

Not to deter his spirit I just said gender doesn't matter as Long as u have secret which is the topic...

Take heart that your 12yo has the maturity to write a \"corporate whistle blower\" kind of plot. Just pray that he had developed his plot well such that the secret could be inferred from the earlier cues, e.g. why the colleague was dismissed (cause of dismissal = info in letter).

Time to move on!

\"Corporate whistle blower\" kind of plot, can be :
the author (P6 student) saw the school Principal inside the corporate office, kissing & hugging his Form Teacher / a subject Teacher / or a canteen vendor operator, having affair ... that kind of scenario

so author dare not disclose secret. If disclose, wait the school Principal expel him out of school.
In order to protect himself, he therefore choose not to disclose THE SECRET

Get the msg from DD’s Math tutor that Paper 1 is difficult.

Aiyo, this morning I told DD that she must work fast so have time to check and check. Cannot complete the paper? Die lah… I always tell her by hook or by crook, don’t leave any questions unanswered. Write one line or one calculation also better than leave the whole question blank. Hope she bear in mind.

DS is quite agitated too, last question 30 left blank (2 marks gone). Generally it is a habit not to leave any question unattempted, but if he leaves it blank then it is probably harder than usual?

Same here. DS also called and said he lost 2 mks as he misinterpreted one of the qns.I asked him why he didn't check the ans.He said no time as he spent too much time on MCQ.This year's Maths paper might be tougher.DH says ok since there is a curve , :?

Yesterday's English easy but when I asked him what he wrote for paper 1, he said \"it is a secret\" So he cannot tell me.

My boy wrote that he was a cyber bully (the secret) and got found out. He already found a few mistakes in eng paper 2. Told him not to think about it cos it can’t be undone. Need to move forward. Worry about it on results day.

He wrote his best friend told him she stole something. Then next day, he received a note (he did not write letter as in pic of letter in envelope) from his bestfriend warning him not to let the cat out of the bag or else that's the end of the friendship.

I told him it's ok.
