I live in the East <2 km from Tao Nan.

If you are in the 1-2 km category for Tao Nan, unless you are in P2B, you will not even get a chance to participate in the balloting, based on past years' statistics.

lucid already said her child qualifies for phase 2A1, so that is not an issue for her.

But ACS is a risky move though, since balloting is required for phase 2B. You will have to be prepared to go into phase 2C.

I would say go for the sure bet Tao Nan.

I have been a SHHK members for almost two years and is thinking of enrolling my son in Tao Nan Pri. However I stayed in Simpang Bedok which is more than 2 km. Can anyone help advise me what are my chances? Are the chances higher for Kong Hwa or Tao Nan as both are more than 2 km:(

There is a moderate risk that you may not even be able to ballot for Tao Nan or Kong Hwa at Phase 2B, if you are staying more than 2km away.
