If this is really going to happen, there's nothing we can do except enjoying our lives as much as possible now :celebrate: .
No need to prepare for PSLE ! -
Calling all SAHMs, how do you spend your time at home beside taking care of your kids? Me also a SAHM and want to know how other mummies use their time at home.

Another SAHM reporting here. Wondering if any of you mums feel your life revolves around your kid and DH and nothing else? I feel this way alot of the time. Especially when I'm a degree holder and yet not contributing to the work economy, sometimes feel that all my years of study have gone wasted...
although I never regret sacrificing my career for my family, especially for DD, seeing her grow and achieve every milestone is a satisfaction no career can provide. But I do wish sometimes that I have some kind of career or work I can do to fulfill my self actualisation.
That's probably why I set up my blogshop...and hopefully, write my own book one day. :xedfingers: -

How long have you been a SAHM?
I've crossed my 7th year at home and hence totally immune to this thought

I quit my job to take care of my DD personally. She is 2 plus coming to 3 yo

Hi Angelight, I share the same feeling as you. I think there are a lot of SAHMs around like you, highly educated and had a decent job before giving it up for the family. I have an old classmates who was the top in the class all thru secondary school, and later got an MBA from an Ivy League school. In the end, she also became an SAHM after quiting her management consultant job.Another SAHM reporting here. However, all is not wasted as according to some research, the mother's education level is the dominant factor in determining a child's achievement. So your DD is lucky to have you at home :celebrate: !
