Not surprised as CCHM is quite popular.

For those who are thinking of putting your kids in this school, I will say it's a good choice. Academic wise, the school is not in the top tier but your kids will enjoy the 4 years there as it has a warm and holistic environment. Overall the teachers are very caring too but of course, there will be some black sheep.

My DS made many good friends in CCHM n I can see he misses the good old days there. The boys during his time are mischievous but fun, sincere and caring buddies.

I talked to a CCHSM student on the way home and found out that the school no longer placed their students in the Talent Development classes according to their ability in Maths, Science, Chinese or Music for this yr Sec 1. Anyone know whether they still hv Talent Development Programme for Mathematics? Thanks.

I'm not surprised at all. CCHS Main during its peak was as reputable as Chinese High School. It's got strong alumni backing, e.g. Wee Cho Yaw, Low Thia Khiang, etc. Nestled in GCB district in Goodman. Beautiful historic Zhong Zheng Lake...
