Most kids except GEP ones would be allocated randomly... Only the GEP kids would be allocated to iSpark

One of my friend's mainstream DS is posted to iSparks also :?
So what is iSparks critieria? So GEP students with DSA and low PSLE scores will get automatically posted to iSparks also?

No, mainly GEP and other students with higher PSLE scores are posted to iSparks. This is because their syllabus (such as Maths, Science subjects) are enriched, that is, there are additional topics and projects as part of their assessment.

For mainstream, only boys who are admitted successfully via DSA with high PSLE scores are invited to join Ispark.

In HCI, the boys are not too concerned about whether one is in ispark or not. All the boys are assessed the same way for promotion to S3. Boys are free to join the Talent Programs in S3 if they are qualify and are interested.

Hey guys, I am a former Hwa Chong student; I graduated from high school recently 😄

Our school uniform (for Sec 1 to Sec 3) comes with the metallic buttons attached. The buttons can be taken on and off everyday quite easily (roughly 4 minutes will do; 2 or even 1 if you become an expert at it 🆒 ). Some parents choose to sew it on to prevent the hassle, but buttons may become rusty, so I stuck with the former method.

I've actually sewn them on and I put the shirts in the laundry bag before putting them in the washing machine. So far, the buttons did not become rusty. 😄

i did the same as CatMoon for my son - so far so good, the buttons lasted for the entire 3 years.

Next year, time to upgrade to long pants. Anyone has gone down to buy the s4 texts and uniform yet?
