      LKVM:

So small potty with plastic bag

      :faint:

At least for DD1, I told her that she must visit the toilet before any MRT ride or else we will have to exit the station to use the station's toilet. Since we never had any nice experiences with these toilets, it was enough to make her shudder and obediently empty her bladder before we left home.

DS is like that too. Have to wipe toilet seat in public toilets sometimes. Will refuse to pee if he sees a drop of ....... :!:

visited pasar malam with kids and ds1 did not bring along his specs and complained about unable to browse the sale items easily...

me : see...now you know how troublesome it is to wear specs.
ds1 : wearing specs is not troublesome. it is only troublesome if i don't wear my specs.

😐 think i should go for English lessons and correct myself that 'troublesome it is to be shortsighted' ie stop using 'shortcut' english language.

I was having lunch with my DD at Mos Burger today. The staff was asking whether to clear the tray.

          Me: Ya. Thank you.
DD: Mummy, why u say 'ya. thank you'?
Me: the aunty is helping us to clear the tray so I said thank you to her.
DD: U should say 'yes. thank you'.
Me: oh  . I'm speaking singlish mah.
DD: Singlish is broken English, right
          Me: 😐

The night before we went for our ‘public house’ selection, I asked 31 mth DS:

‘Do you want to go ‘buy’ house with papa & mummy tomorrow?’

                  ds : no.

                  I asked: why?

                  Without a thought, he said:
‘the house too big cannot put in papa car’ in a serious tone.

I was surprised by his quick response and the analytical skill, at this age.

I did not use ‘select’ because he does not know the meaning, instead ‘buy’ which is also approriate as the fact is we are buying a new place. DS knows the meaning of ‘buy’ as he sees us buying stuffs at the supermarket, hawker, etc with money, which to him the purchase has to be brought home in his papa’s vehicle.

I’m just surprised by such quick response, somemore it’s bedtime past 11pm

One night a few days ago, DD2 was busy coloring after a short squabble with che2 over a crayon.

Me: 2 of you ah, dun fight okay. Mei2, you only have one che2. Che2 you only have one mei2, you know. If you don’t love each other, then how?
DD2: (matter-a-factly while still colouring) Then, change la!!
                    Me: :!: (Pengsan!!)
