Registering S1 today. We are surprised to find out that the higher Chinese language lesson will be conducted outside NUSH, in 4 choices of sec school. Is this arrangement newly started? I thought can take in NUSH campus. Now have to travel to take HCL.

Yes. Can take HCL in NUSH campus. The form shown to us is just a standard form from moe. No need travel for taking HCL.

Hi, ds was offered jap by moecl. We want to change to jap at NUSHS, which means we need to add this as elective. How high is the possibility of not getting jap at NUSHS as I m not sure if I shd first accept the moecl jap (register on 30 dec) and then withdraw only upon confirming that ds has been accepted into NUSHS jap.

Hi! I attended the matriculation with my daughter yesterday but I didn’t catch the part on choosing electives. Is it on a first come first serve basis?

And hello to fellow parents of kids entering year 1 next year!! ^^

Im not too sure about the japanese elective but choosing electives is generally on a first come first serve basis.

There will be a module selection period probably on the first week of school.

hello! most electives are first come first serve, especially in the early years. but, future electives (eg olympiad training modules) might be on selection basis. additionally, future modules may have pre-requisites.
