Hi parents. My daughter will be joining the P1 '16 intake. Any parents out there knows a thing or two rgding the student service centre registration etc.

Was told it will go to balloting in case of high demand for priority cases (both parents working)

Am worried that by the time the results is out by mid Dec, other alternatives will be too late by then & not forgetting the last minute transport arrangement.

hi, I am contemplating JY Primary for my girl for year 2018. What are the available student care nearby (besides the student care offered by school which may have limited space) ?

From my understanding, there is a after school care opposite the school (can cross via the overhead bridge) and the teachers actually will walk over to pick the students up. You can check it from with them, their centre is on level 1. Otherwise, likely will have to walk further to Blk 800+ along street 81 where Prime Supermarket is.

You can try to get a slot in school first though!

I just found out you can check out the student care centres at various locations from this link:

              https://www.childcarelink.gov.sg/ccls/home/CCLS_Home.jsp
              Just choose Student Care button.

                  Hi Everyone,

Can share about the teachers and school environment in JYPS? As my son will be registering for P1 next year and Junyuan is one of my choice.

                  1) Is the teacher support strong towards problem kids in school ? Especially their Allied Educators and counselors?

                  2) Are the children require to take any exams in P1?

                  3) Generally the school environment is it conducive for learning?

                  4) between Junyuan and Tampines primary school, which one will be a better choice? Personally i would prefer a conducive learning environment with supportive teachers and principals. Prefer my son to be more exposed to different CCAs, different learning programmes to widen his knowledge.

                  Appreciate any thoughts or feedback.
                  Thank you in advance. 😃

My child went into junyuan a few years ago because of ballot. Everything fine but when I was on the bridge next to the school, I can heard the p shouting into the mic, and some words not very appropriate. Need to threaten children like this? They are just primary school. I heard that she also do that to teachers.

                        Hi.

Will anyone be interested in forming a group tuition for P6 Science with my son at the tutor’s place along Tampines Street 86? I have requested the class to focus on open ended questions.

Tutor is charging $180/4 weeks (1.5 hr each week)

The class is scheduled to be on Fridays at 5pm- 6.30pm.

PM me if you need more details.
