Hi! I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post his as im new haha but i would like to ask if anyone has information about further math? I just did my Os last year and im expecting at least an A2 for emath and amath (leaning towards A1 hopefully). I would like to take fmath since im planning to go into a math-related career in the future 🙂 I would like to ask the following

      1. What is the diagnosis test like? Do i need to actually study for it haha and what will be tested?
      2. Are materials easily obtainable? I've tried finding the old TYS for the subject (as only mechanics have been removed) and assessment books, but i've found nothing. Are school materials enough? (Choices are around NYJC/CJC/AJC/SRJC for now as results are not out yet)
      3. Should i take 4 H2s or 3 H2s and 1 H1 (econs) with fmath? Planning to take math, fmath, physics and econs
      4. Is tuition for any subjects needed in JC? In sec sch I've only had tuition for Chinese & English, and consultation style tuition for physics & chemistry. I've always been self learning math without the aid of a tutor

      Thanks!!

There will be a press statement by SEAB and MOE on the performance of the cohort on 11 Jan. However, the performance of individual schools including the passing rate will not be announced. On the other hand, some schools may choose to disclose selected information on their websites and I believe most if not all schools will disclose the data during the principal's speech on result release day.

I have compiled the dates of the 2017 Open Houses held by the Junior Colleges. However, I am unable to find the date and time for ACSI and the timing for NYJC. \t\t\t\t\t\t

For those who are considering the poly diploma route , poly open house this weekend, 5 - 7 Jan 2017. For those who miss the Open House, there’s JAE counselling next week after the O level results.

Very important to know what students are in for before they apply. It’s not a case of "because I like animals/dogs…, so I want to join vet science or I like cooking so I am going to join culinary arts". Being interested is one thing, staying committed is another.

My son is getting really worried as Wed approaches. Hopefully he can get into the course he’s been eyeing on. He went down to the open house on Thursday to decide for sure what his 1st choice will be.
