Hi parents I am helping my dear son publicise his tuition business! FYI, my dear son is also from Hwa Chong! So senior/grand senior of any of your dses coming in next year too 🙂

        From my dear son:
We have just finished our GCSE A Levels and would be offering Private 1 to 1 home tuition. We are graduates of a top JC in Singapore and have always scored the top 20 percentile for all JC exams. Also, we graduated from the Integrated Programme (IP). Straight As for Secondary 4 promotional Exams. Our team also comprises a current Medical student.

All tuition sessions would be personalised to the tutee. We will also share efficient and effective study methods. As students who have just graduated from JC and secondary school , we are familiar with the syllabus and the little tricks and tips to prepare for the O Levels/A Levels exams. Affordable rates!

        1. Tuition available for JC subjects:
(We will provide additional resources and notes)

        H1 General Paper
        H1/H2 Geography
        H1/H2 Economics
        H1/H2 Chemistry
        H1/H2 Biology
        H1/H2 Math
        H2 Knowledge and Inquiry

        2. Secondary School Subjects:

        Chemistry
        Biology
        Math
        English and Language Arts
        Literature
        Geography
        History
NB: We can help with Secondary School Projects too.

        3. Also Available:

Intensive Holiday Tuition over Nov/Dec holidays to help you catch up for next year!! (For the subjects above)

Pre-JC introductory/crash course session - suitable for students who want a head start to JC, and be faster than your peers!!

Send in a message if interested!

Please don't recommend your son's or your service here! He didn't turn up for his lesson, he even blocked my friend's phone call . A person in a well known school without interigrity!

ESIP is auto if you qualify. No need to apply.

It will be indicated on the result slip.

                  One question regarding L1R5.

If a student takes Higher Mother Tongue, can he use HMTL as L1 instead of English to get the 2 Bonus Points?

Is it common for students taking H3 subject to go other JC for classes? My DS is taking H3 Maths and he needs to go NYJC for lecture with other students from other JCs. Apparently, some modules will be at NYJC and some at HCI…

If you use HMTL as L1, it replaces English as first language. It doesn't give you 2 bonus points anymore.

But if you use English as L1, you can use HMTL to deduct 2 points from your L1R5 raw score. CCA of 2 points can be used too, so in total you have 4 bonus points.

Hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Regarding H3 classes, I am surprised that NYJC is having a collaboration with Hwa Chong. From what I know, the schedule depends on the availability of venues. Probably, there is a large magnitude of candidates from NYJC who take H3 Math. NYJC must be strong in Maths to enjoy such privileges.
