      Thanks JToh
If applying for scholarships, is it must all A inclusive of higher MT ?

      thanks

It depends on the scholarship. With highly competitive scholarships, the more As the better. Of course grades aren't the only component of your resume they'll be looking at.

Thanks JToh so much for enlightening me . My dd got a B for HMT . Chinese is never her interest but I was thinking whether to retake If other subjects she able to do well .

It seems this cohort is pretty quiet. I don't see much discussions on JC/Poly selection compared to last year.

I think it might be more worthwhile to spend the extra hours on her J1 subjects and take on H3 in J2. At the end of the day, your four core subjects, GP and PW are what matters most. No point spending extra time on MT, or even H3 if you can't secure As in your core subjects.

And if the student manages to get accepted into a choice university and course, scholarship boards won't fuss about a not-so-stellar grade in a subject that isn't relevant to the course chosen. (I heard this from a friend who until recently worked in the scholarship-issuing dept. of an organisation that issues a lot of scholarships.)

                    :?
DS L1R5 after bonus points is 3.

Between RI and HCI, which is a better choice? Is RI more of a pressure cooker and elitist?
