Any idea what do they teach for ADM?

      It's \"Academic Discovery Module\". Some writeup here.

What is the difference in terms pf curriculum for IP and O level? IP sch fees is $20 more than O level. The time table for all sec1 classes look similar.

          bluemom:
There is a side gate with shelter to sji bus stop but not sure the timing for the side gate to be opened.

Since During S1 reporting day that Jude Tan said that every class dismissal is different
Side gate opening hours are 6.15am-7.30am only. Maybe can suggest to the school to have exit only button at the gate like some other schools so that students can also take bus from that stop especially on rainy days. Better still is allow for entry and exit via the student pass so during other times can also enter/exit from that gate.

Yes , agreed with what u said.
Raining day it will be more convenient for the kids to go to the bus stop without getting wet.

Must hv more parents voice out then maybe the sch will consider this option

Yes like RI & some other schools or condominium whee have push button to exit. If the school afraid of intruders could station a \"Gurka Guards\" to man the gate from 1.30pm to 6pm. (Dismissal for classes & those on ECA's). 0615 to 0730 only miserable 45 minutes in operation.

Normally in each group would hv 1 class of IP. For outsiders it is difficult to detect the IP classes.

I'm a Sec 4 IP Student who managed to transfer from o levels so I understand both syllabuses. The IP syllabus is basically more indepth than the o level stream. The sec 1 and sec 2 lessons are mainly the same but for IP they train you to answer questions beyond the syllabus. It is also more projects based than written papers. For sec 3 and 4 the tracks begin to diverge with the IP chers teaching you more to prepare for JC. We learn and study more than most of the o level students. Usually for the o levels u have only a couple of projects in the year but if I remember in sec 3 I had to do about 20 projects in the IP stream. If you think your son can work well with others and can handle a lot of stress then IP is the way to go! Plus you dont have to worry about taking the o levels cause u go directly to a great JC

SJI IP programme leads to IB. They dont head for a JC, no? The IB integ prog is different from the A lvl IP prog, if I am not wrong.
SJI has an excellent and rigorous O lvl prog. Those who did well on the O lvl track in SJI shld hv no problem with the A lvls or IB.

I was late in yesterday parent orientation. I did not meet my son’s form teacher and went straight to the theater. Can I ask what did the form teacher share with the parents in the classroom? Can any parents share?
