so so agree! guide = nag! I agree 8 months is not long, nor is it short. My other concern would be burnout before the actual if revision to start now. All I have been asking him to do is to read the model compo books as well as start his topical assessment book.
prelims are usually harder than psle...revise and take prelims as a form of revision but don't get burnt out.
save the energy for the BIG PICTURE ie psle.
during this period, revise lower block science. finish p6 topics by end may so that june can be spent revising. -

my 2 kids were always dreaming when they were sitting for psle...they always feel there is plenty of time before psle.

last year, i chopped down many trees by printing out weekly timetables...they had to be flexible because of supplementary lessons, CCAs etc. i am adamant daughter followed the work assigned after getting school hw done. because she is forgetful, i had to revise different topics of lower block and upper block on different days. -
Quite shocked that P6 workload has increased tremendously till we have no time to do assessment books
Last year no supplementary classes and not much homework, still can do some assessment books. Guess have to jump straight to practise on past year papers. -

Maybe assessment books bought already
But then for me, I would love the teachers to keep them occupied. But my dd, already got complaints for not doing the (not much) hw and also never bring hw home to do hope you parents dont mind me taking part in this thread as I m someone who needs constant shocks. -

I feel so insecure without seeing them do assessment books on a regular basis. Just do school homework, will it be enough? -

I am a current Chinese language School teacher( female) with 14 years teaching experience. I am the Level Head for Chinese Language since 2010. I have taught in both SAP and non SAP schools. I am on Flexi teaching scheme this year and is keen to coach P6 students who are taking PSLE. I have the necessary resources to coach the children to tackle the New Oral exam this year. Additional material( worksheets/ notes) will be provided during every lesson. As my tuition slots are almost filled up, I am only able to teach 1 more group of 2 kids on Sat afternoon, preferably at a convenient venue. WhatsApp me @ 96890221 if you are keen.

$50 /hr/ student (group tuition at students’ home)
$45 /hr/ student ( group tuition at tutor’ home)
Rate : $65/hr ( 1-1 tuition)
