So am i. You are not alone.. 🙏 🙏

Two weeks ago we purposely made a trip to Popular to get some P6 Chinese assessment books but the ones we wanted were sold out. :rotflmao:

even though p6 is a hectic year...no assessment books feels kinda weird and unprepared for a big exam. doing past year exam papers is like tikam tikam since random questions are picked. last year, my daughter did the most for science.[/quote]Yes! Not doing assessment books makes me feels insecure, hectic year also must do, 😂 at least a bit, best everyday. Worried that without constant practice then start to degenerate. 😓

Past year papers also must practise, but not now, 1 month before SA1 since our school does not have CA1.

past year papers can only be done near psle...questions can be so demoralizing at times.

as daughter tends to forget easily, i had to get her to revise science for certain topics frequently. used challenging science which has thematic topics. i love it. i cannot leave it to the school to prepare the girls for psle....i feel insecure.

I guess must see which strategy works best for each child. For DS, past year papers prepared him the best because he can familiarize himself with PSLE types of questions soonest.

              ngl2010,
When did you start in earnest the practising of past year papers? At the start of P6 (January)?

Just signing in. My DS doing PSLE this year. I’ve got past exam papers from jeremyexampapers last Nov.

Can order & they’ll send to your residence:-

                9851 8229
                9851 8226
                9385 8586

Just intend to keep him practicing & maintain momentum. He did TLL Math with the high performing practices, doing 汪 for his Chinese & self-study for Science. Started enrichment at Academia last October. Some level of stress is OK for young kids, but don’t intend to add too much load on him except give him all the support he needs.

Hi, there were 2 Chinese e-oral Chinese books published last year in end Dec. One was for PSLE level and one was for P4/P5 standard. It is not by E-tutor. Another brand. Very good stuff! Quite pricey though. Can you go to check out the books at Yishun Popular outlet?
