DSA 2017

Estéema:
Meanwhile, snoop around ds' ACS GEP cluster and see how strong his contenders are this year (that's assuming they're not leaving for RI). :siam:
Indeed, I'm supportive of DS' choice & hope he gets a chance for DSA. Only nagging thot is he didn't achieve more than silver for his Mathlympic. I've to knock my head again, coz I started him late & both DH & I hv no ability to coach him in that area. We didn't check out on any training Centres. His FTs just selected him based on his Math results & we rush out to get a book or 2.
Hope other KSP whose kid(s) hv keen interests in Math can expose their kid early enuf. I can't regret too much either coz his time always seems no enuf!
Like Jetsetter indicated, and exactly why I'm not 100% confident for my DS try DSA.
Side thot, I was told P6 no more MO competition but was surprised he was selected for P6 & they alr started training last 2 weeks. If indeed there is P6 competition, then there's still hope for him. Good that they start early this year & DS seemed to look forward. Pray it'll be a good year for him @ competition.
Jetsetter, will look out for ACSI OH & try clear all our doubts. I saw the posting on NUS High OH but can't find dates for ACSI OH. Anyone hv inside info?
You'll have to wait for a few more weeks before the OH dates are published. OHs are usually in May. Search for the \"ACSI\" and \"NUSH\" Networking threads or \"2016 DSA\" threads in this forum?
Someone mentioned a few pages above that a school ever suggested to one candidate to apply thru another domain when they saw potential and value in taking him in. I thought that was a very benevolent gesture
Let's pray that ACSI will be kinder to those who took Mathlympic and OMDI competition!

ACSI has interview? I remember they used to be the easier…just HAST.

• interview (where necessary) -
jetsetter:
Maybe for those who have pretty a good acad and non-acad portfolio but somehow didn't make the HAST cut....just my guess

That being said, I remember ACSI used to like to see the non-acad part of your portfolio -

Think so. Most of my friends' dc in ACS have at least 2 non-acad under their belts. I like ACSI.

Hi, does anyone happen to have an idea or link to show the secondary schools with their respective cut-off points? TIA!
