kitty2:
My friend's son went for an interview for his appeal to Poly.
Mr Bean:
My DS appeal to neighbourhood JC. I accompany him yesterday morning to appeal and this afternoon they gave him transfer form which my DS had to bring to posted school to acknowledge the transfer. He will be in the new school by Monday
Good luck for those who appeal too.
appeal for transfer of JC is so fast?
i have to wait till 9/2 to know appeal result to know if he can get into poly :nailbite:
even son is worried.
Hi kitty2, I called the poly to ask if there will be interview for the appeal and was told \"no\" as it is a computerised process.
Would you be able to share more info for your friend's DS case.
Thanks
I am not sure of all the Poly's system,he appealed in RP and was asked to go for an interview.
RP probably received his info after he had submitted the appeal online through the Poly JAE Appeal system and asked him to go for interview.
The Poly JAE Appeal is still open and will close at 4pm on 6/2/2017, Monday. Appeallant can still amend or withdraw the appeal application before it is closed. If your friend's son did appeal online (not having appealed in person to RP), it may mean that the Polys are receiving the appeal infos during this application period instead of just waiting for the computerised appeal system to work through its algorithm to process the appeals. -
Mr Bean:
By appealing through the JAE appeal site, does the respective poly receive the student's appeal info faster than wait till 6/2 closing time?

There are not many courses available for appeal cases...fortunately, the ones son is keen are still available. Is it sufficient to just appeal online via jae appeal site or go to the poly to appeal as well, to be on the safe side? I emailed to the poly which son is keen in the courses. The reply is as long as son meets the criteria of each course, he will have an opportunity to apply. I am worried sick, so is he. -

may we know roughly, how long was your son's interview ? half an hour or 1 hour ?
think if got called up for interview, means got chance -
phtthp:
If the question for the quoted, My DS didn't do any interview. When he came to the general office and tell them his name, he was asked to fill the transfer form and explained the details of orientation.

2 more days before we know the outcome of the appeal
the appeal will be successful.
all the best to your kids who are also appealing. -

Or
U had already called up to check, but they just ask you to wait for 2 more days ? How many more other candidates, also appealing together with him, for the same faculty course, same poly ? -

was informed that it is based on the availability & cohort size...more stressful :frustrated: to hear this. -
