someone mentioned that students in IP curriculum, in this school -
tend to do a lot of projects, heavily involved in many projects until tend to sleep late at night, partly also due to Cca(s) ending so late in the evening (Cca start 3.45 pm, end around 6.30 pm) minimum 2x out of 5 days per week, whereas in contrast for "O" level preparation : students follow a more structured, step-by-step guided curriculum.
How about "O" level ?
don’t do any project at all, in Sec 2 nor in Sec 3 / 4 ?
just strictly follow "O" level syllabus track to complete, classroom style of teaching?
can "O" level students help to verify ? Thanks & appreciated. -

There are some projects for O Level (We had our Science Investigative Project last year), though not as many as IP. I'm not too sure for Sec 3 and 4 (but I believe there probably will be some) since we don't seem to have Project Work periods any more.someone mentioned that students in IP curriculum, in this school -

My girl is in IP Sec One and mentioned needing help for science. Anyone has recommendation for tutors or center?
I understand the curriculum is different for each IP school, therefore, these days tutors are school specific too?
Thank you! -

I'm in Sec 2 O level this year. I guess they changed it? We have like 5 projects just a while back... SIP, GI, HI(individual but it's still a project), Literature AA, Wunderkammer(Art project). We still had another 2 mini projects which have to do with our curriculum. This was similar to when in Sec 1. According to my form teacher, there will be much less in Sec 3-4.

Actually, some CCAs such as Mind Games, Library Society and Art Club end at 5.45pm
what do the girls learn in Mind Games Cca ?
is it Chess ?
b)
how about Publishing Journalism Club Cca ?
do they publish articles in Chinese, or in English, like what the Reporters in Straits Times do ?
c)
how about Debating Club Cca ?
how often do they conduct competitive debating, across inter-Secondary schools competition ?
is it conducted once, twice or 3x, per year ?
what are some of the Debating Topics debated during inter-Secondary school competition so far, at Lower Secondary (Sec 1 & 2) & at Upper Secondary (Sec 3 & 4) ?
d)
btw, 3rd language (French / Japanese / German / Spanish) fall on Friday. Some of the Cca(s) also fall on Friday.
if the Cca happen to clash over same Friday afternoon, how ?
a) We rarely play chess in Mind Games. The competition is mainly scrabble. We also have others like last year we held a one-minute-game competition and invited Presbyterian Secondary over. We also have a Chinese Word Game but competition details were not known thus we could not take part. When we have no competitions to prepare for we can play any game available like monopoly or uno.
b) They make the magazines we get every semester including doing the articles.
c) I'm not very sure, but just last week they had a competition.
d) If they have multiple sessions, they can always skip one session of CCA, according to the teacher-in-charge for CCA. If there is a need, they can also write in a letter to change the day. As far as I am aware, my friends have 3rd Language on Mondays and Wednesdays instead(perhaps they changed it but I thought the original day is Wed?) -

So far, I have GI, Literature and Social Studies AA and a small PE project. I don't take History but my friends told me that they don't have HI.
