Yes, there's affiliation between Kuo Chuan Primary & Secondary. As of this year, you only need 200 points to go to express. Not sure about balloting in Phase 2C. Should be either <1km or 1-2km.

For Phase 2B < 1km, ACS Junior is a safer option. You can still try your luck at ACS Primary, but get ready to either ballot or jump to ACS Junior in the 11th hour.

THanks.[/quote]Yes, you can register last minute as long as before the closing time. If you have registered in school A, you have to de-register first before you can go to school B to register. So you have to give enough buffer.

HiHi my girl will be enrolling into pri 1 year and I am in a dilemma.


I am staying in Punggol and my alumni is FMSP. I am thinking of sending her there but yet the distance is a killer, hence I may even settle for PVPS or the new Oasis Pri.

Any parent here thinking of sending your children to any of the school above?

Of course, but it means you might go for balloting twice for the same school. The chance will be slimmer in Phase 2C as usually there will be more applicants.

We stay within 1km from Radin Mas and CHIJ Kellock, need more inputs or advise on which Primary should we take? As currently we are confused on which school do we need to register our girl. For CHIJ, we are keen for the affiliates with the secondary school, but RMPS also is a very good school.
Any kind advise or inputs for our consideration before this July's registration? As we can only register her under phase 2C for both schools.

My personal opinion, take the one with the better chance to get in Phase 2C.

Secondly, I personally go for the affiliation. There are many sad stories about the child who attends a top primary school but does badly in PSLE and ends up in a not so good secondary school.

On the other hand, there are many happy stories about the child who attends a not too bad primary school and barely passes PSLE but proceeds to the affiliated secondary school, which is way much better than the one in the first story.

I leave it to you to choose now.
