          Choped (auto correct again)

If it is a fairer system, then CO should not be offered to them.

            换汤不换药?

Don't think even 换汤, 只是加了一点葱花 lah :siam:

All these \"schools have the discretion to grant this and do that behind the scenes, don't fret, only 一点葱花\"
But that's what you alone speculate nia.

I agree however that there's no basis for IP schools to turn away someone who's top 5 in school cohort as he/she is likely to be strong in all 4 subjects, which means he can pick and choose any domain to use. But the schools must now look at whether this person has any non acad talents as well, because the MINISTER says so.

At the end of the day, all Ps and Ts take \"orders\" from the Min who is the #1 man in the Education Act. Even University Provosts/Deans must take \"orders\" from the Min. If the general says remove CAs, remove useless ICAS in lower pri, remove GAT, remove streaming but have mixed ability classes, all must follow the leader. :siam:

Why not dsa if you have a nice colourful portfolio to present?!

If you have only one kind of weapon, ie, your academic results, then I guess it’s gonna be rather tough with this change in place.

                    True.
With 20% places compulsorily set aside for DSA, even if you wish to use Tscore to enter, you need to worry whether there're enough places left for your dc to apply under S1 posting!

A GEP with no portfolio or achievements in a particular domain to showcase will have to depend on PSLE results. I imagine schools will find it hard to justify chope-ing these students in future.

A GEP with no portfolio or achievements in a particular domain to showcase will have to depend on PSLE results. Hence, these students can't be chope any more.

                        But will be chopped :siam:
