      Hi,

Anybody tried PV at St. Andrews Junior? What are the chances? My son can get into NCPS as sister is there, so can I apply for both schools? TIA
You are not allowed to apply for 2 different schools at the same time.

Since your daughter is in NCPS, you could register your son in Phase 1. But if you decide to register him in Phase 2B in St Andrew, you will have to withdraw his application from NCPS.

Please note that once you withdraw, you could not get the seat back. So if you fail to get a seat in St Andrew, you can't go back to NCPS unless you go through Phase 2C, which might require balloting depending on where you live. If you live more than 2 km, you might not be able to register at all and will have to find another school.

Thank you for the reply. Will be attending the PV briefing this May and shall decide by then.

Does anyone know if a withdrawal happens as in the above situation, with the Phase 1 slot freed up, will there be another slot made available for the Phase 2B school during the tabulation of the Phase 2B results?

Yes, definitely there's a min hours. And there's a min years of membership too even though they won't tell you upfront. To be safe, you should be a member for at least 3-4 years before you can get a letter. Any lesser than that, your chance will be slimmer.

Hi, I am new here. just wondering if anyone knows if SAHP are somewhat "preferred" vs. working parents in getting selected for PV? meaning that SAHP have more time flexibility during school hours to help vs. working parents? thank you!
