      Jnhh:
A total of 151 applicants this time. Called the admin office yesterday and was told that they will call those selected. Those who are not selected will receive letter end Mar or early Apr...

      thanks for the update.

      Update:
called the office too, from the tone of the speaker, it appears that the selection process is not completed yet and thus no calls made yet.
      my guess only.

Hi Parents! The PV application form states that applicants may be called up for interviews which may be conducted in groups. Does any parent has experience or knows what the school will ask generally? Are both parents require to attend or just either and is it true that both parents can clock the required 40h together? Would appreciate if anyone could advise. TIA.

Hi All, I’m a current parent volunteer for last year. Just to share my experience, there was less than 20 sets of PVs selected as they wished that most of the PVs child got a space in the school after contributing 70 hours volunteering. The 70 hours can be contributed by both husband and wife. All the best!

                  Hi,

My child is in P1 Rosyth this year. Any advice on how to cope during recess? So far he has not made any friends as he is rather introverted. Therefore, he is by himself during recess. All advice welcome.

Rosyth’s PV is back? Didn’t they stop taking in PVs for some time?

What kind of skills are they looking for in their PVs actually? Traffic wardens, librarians, storytellers for new immigrants??

Hi which class is ur child in? Mine is in P1 Appreciative.
Did you manage to check with the teacher during the PTC session? Did he tell u he is usually by himself during recess?
Is he bully by his friends?
Maybe u can hv small chat session with you daily and see how is he adapting? Eg, WHo are his bffs? What does he usually eat? Who is sitting beside him etc..
Ur child prob need a longer time to settle down. I'm sure he will adapt well very soon.
