JC2 CT1 is over. Massacre has begun. Haha..

No classes for JC2s today. Have CCAs though.

No, massacre only begins when the results start coming back!

My daughter spent this morning baking some kind of cheese tarts (look quite good, haven't tasted them yet), and left my kitchen clean too. She's gone to spend the rest of the day with friends and brought a few of the tarts to let them try. I told her to enjoy herself as real work begins again on Monday! Anyway, she surprised me this morning by telling me that she got up early and decided that she might as well finish writing an Econs essay (due on Monday) so she could go out with a clear conscience - I was very impressed. I knew she had an essay due but thought she would write it tomorrow.

That's so nice. I suppose that's the difference between boys and girls. DS will probably not touch any school work till Sunday nite. Lol

DS will be busy with CCA in the coming weeks due to SYF. Then it's CT2 in May (GP) & July, then Prelims, then A Levels..

How did your gal find the papers ? Wonder if PW results will be out before or after the 'massacre'.

Not so sure about the boy/girl divide - a lot is personality. I have another girl who is not like that!

I got the usual \"Quite OK\" when I asked about the papers each day. It's a long way to the A levels, so I'm not going to worry about all these interim tests and exams. I know she will put in her best effort in the last couple of months, so no need to work so hard now as long as she is generally on top of her work.

Edited to add - she actually didn't finish her essay! She is still writing it today - I misunderstood her and thought she'd finished, but she hadn't. Oh well, she's normal, after all.

I am surprised by these repetitions.

As far as I know, I posted once on 23 Mar 2017 @ 12:12 and edited once on 30 Mar 2017 @ 13:15, when I received more information from the tutor.

I am not sure why it has appeared so many times

So your son must have done well (judging by the bouncing creature?). My daughter has all her results except GP now. She's satisfied with her results, but can see where there is room for improvement. There seems to be rash of cake-buying in her class - apparently some promised to buy cake for their friends if their friends did well in a subject; for some, they will buy cake to console the ones who didn't do well; and for some, the one who did well buys the cake. So complicated - how do they remember who's buying what for whom and for what reason?

Doesn't matter. Eat dessert first. šŸ˜„

I was just going to say that Firefly's ds must have done very well. šŸ˜„
