Out of curiousity, may I know what is DAN level in CMA?

DAN level is their way of ranking your abacus proficiency. My gal started from the lowest at Grade 13 and she took the level test when teacher feels she's up to the standard. The highest level is Dan 1. The tests are conducted a few times in a year, but you do not have to take test for every grade. Like my gal, she usually skip a level and take the next one, so it doesn't seemed like she had to keep taking tests.
