Do not use other schools past year qn for


- Science :
Because their schools' topics, may differ from your own school's Test topics, unless u skip those topics that not going to come out, for yr school.

- Chinese :
Because the format or the Section to be tested, may differ from that of your own school

Eg
For SA1 : Some schools' tests include Zao ju, tian xie Han zi, wan cheng dui hua, ci Yu Da Pei, while others exclude

But can answer those Section. On Open ended Chinese compreh, Bec this section is common, in most schools

- Maths
some schools include P4 Fraction, some exclude

U need to check your school : Fraction, in or out ?

- English (paper 2)
some schools include Synthesis & Transformation, Editing, while others exclude

SA2 :
For Eng, Maths, Science :
can use any school's paper, because by then, when reach Term 4, most of the P4 topics (follow Moe subject syllabus) would have been covered and taught

Only difference is : the standard of qns, set by the various schools, differ

Eg
Maths
Some schools set very chim qns, although same topics tested, as other schools (who set less chim qn)


For chinese :
If yr kid fr sap school, can practise fr other sap school

P4 :

being only 2nd year in primary school Science (start from P3), some schools still give leeway, excuse u if spell scientific terms wrongly, unless in obvious case like "stem" (part of a plant), vs "steam" (liquid water turn into water vapour, at boiling point).

However, at psle major exam, students will be penalised, if spell wrongly

Eg
If spell "photosynthesis" wrongly, they will minus some mark.

I had looked at the list of topics to be tested…Sci need to test P3 as well. I may just change to reading and doing qns from the revision books for Sci maybe better.
