Does puppy need a kicking too?

Most tend to idle after a while. Who wants to be hard on themselves? Idle time = ME time. That is why I love this thread.
I think puppy also has too much idle time, so much so that he is tearing my house apart! Chewed on my sofa, chewed up DH's slippers, chewed on the floor skirting. All these are actually signs of boredom. I have been busy lately so not much time to bring him out, so these 2 weeks, he has been rather destructive. Too much pent up energy.

Pardon me, your family members are having an \"idle\" time 😄

Who needs kicking? Lai, lai, I am in a kicking mode.
              Moi!

Changes at work, more work load coming in I really need to get pending stuffs out of the way and streamline current stuff , to face the onslaught. Two weeks the new laptop is with me , but havent yet switched over to it. Once i get into the focused exam mode frenzy, I can have it all within my control, but not getting that momentum yet 😢

For the first time DH has taken the planning of the holiday, that is one headache less. I have to get the ophthalmologist appointment. Scheduled a dental appointment. Have to spend more time with parents.

so yes, kick me please :spank:

I’m in a slacking mode now. Just got a project done which has been taking up a lot of time and energy for the past couple of months - and poorly paid too! I still have a some stuff to complete for my volunteer work which I need to get done soon as my husband and I go on vacation next week. I also need to get out my warmer clothing and get the house stocked up for the kids.

We also started planning our Dec vacation a couple of days ago, and as always, I get to do the research and the main "busy" work - tickets, itinerary, accommodation etc. My husband gives opinions, the family pow-wows a bit, then I do the work and submit what I have found out for "approval"! Seems silly to be planning this before we’ve even left for the May-Jun vacation, but we found that a lot of accommodation has been booked up already (in NZ). No choice but to travel during the peak period as we have to wait for NTU vacation and after the A levels.

looks like she is a late bloomer. it's completely ok with me. i want her to do take things slow and easy. enjoy school.

we talked while having lunch today. i explained to her that NA is a more comfortable pace for her. it's OK to stay in NA..don't have to worry about 面子.

It is absolutely ok to remain in NA if your dd is comfortable with the learning pace
If she is in Express but suffers, what is the purpose?

Precisely. That's what I think so too.
No point going to express, suffer the fast pace and lose confidence. Right now, she is doing ok for English, math, borderline passing for history and geography. Have to work on her science tis holiday.
Some of her former classmates from p6 are ignoring her...so I advised her to forget about them as friends should not look down on others. I think that's the reason why she wants to go to express stream.
