Open House -
is conducted either in NEW primary schools or in those existing schools : where a lot of remaining vacancies are still left behind at end of Phase 2C Supp, so in order to attract more parents to enter such schools, they therefore conduct Open House, to lure parents to enrol their kids.

Maha Bodhi primary doesn't fall into such category : because every year, balloting is conducted in Phase 2C, for SCs staying less than 1 km, from MBS. PR : zero chance

based on recent, latest 2017 MOE announcement, Macpherson primary to merge into Cedar primary :-

Thus, for SC parents who fail to ballot successfully into Maha Bodhi primary at Phase 2C, this coming July 2017 (two months from today May 2017), for 2018 Primary 1 intake :-
if Cedar primary still have remaining vacancies in Phase 2C Supp : you may consider enrolling your child, into Cedar.
Or if your child happen to be a girl : can also consider enrol her into Cannosa Convent primary

by end of Phase 2C :-
Maha Bodhi primary : will be full-house, all seats taken

if you're nervous of balloting at Phase 2C for MBS, & your child is a girl, can also consider Haig Girls primary

Hi thanks for replying. I'm going to register my dd to MBS in phase 2A2. I'm staying in sengkang. I'm just worried that is too early for her if the school is going to start one session next year 2018. Any idea is the school will start all in morning session next year? May I know there are how many students in a class?

I have the form and saw that it requires the existing council member to sign. Can anyone give some pointers on this?

We are keen to put our child in this school, but distance will be a concern. We are primarily attracted to the school’s Buddhism values. Could a parent kindly share how much time does the students spend on Buddhism related teachings? Is it a mandatory X No of periods a week ,etc?. What kind of activities do they do during these periods/sessions?

I stay in Sengkang too and my kids are both in MBS, going P2 & 3 next year. Let's see how they fair when it is single session...

Hi Carolina ! Glad to know that there are Maha Bodhians staying in sk. My in laws side is very not encouraging about it due to distance n said some negatives thoughts. Are your kids taking school bus?
