Yah. You apply for the bonds and apply to redeem via ATM. No need to pay for transport or parking to go down to the bank branch. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Unfortunately, you also need a CDP account.
      What is a CDP account?

Central Depository Account. You need one to buy and to sell stocks in Singapore stock exchange
I guess you should already have one?

                    Hi there,

Anyone has any sharing or opinion on ICBC? Is it 'safe' to place FD?
They are having this promo now \"ICBC Bank offers 1.25% to 1.30% p.a. 12-mth fixed deposits\".
                    thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

And what about CIMB? Is it more reliable or ICBC? Any sharing please.

                      CIMB current promo:
                      S$20,000 and above
                      6M @1.20
                      12M @ 1.25

ICBC is the largest bank in the world in terms of total assets and one of the biggest 4 state owned bank in China. I believe it should be rather reliable.
