Thinking of signing up the 3 day course on Answering Techniques for paper 2 PSLE Science

So did u sign ur kiddo in the above course? How's her preparation getting on.

Yes, I did. First time trying out the holiday workshop at this centre. DD1 finds it good. Maybe will send DD2 for their hol workshop next year.

We didn't go for any holidays leh.
Can't say very hardworking but at least most of the stuff I plan to do during this June holiday is being done. No choice, PSLE coming :yikes:

I wanted to try that centre too but prices seems steep for 3 days course so gave it a miss.

My kid still like holiday mood, juz do min and no stress for now. I push more than they do, so I rather relax. Nw they find me a nuisance, always scold them for lazing ard.

Ur kid trying for DSA? Which sch r u aiming for? Not convenient to post then pm me :evil:

i m really a forgetful type kri, pls forgive me it somehow came across my mind that you have psle this year..but my wild imagination told me that your elder one is in secondary already

just happened not long ago, my dh was talking to me, told me the lecturer told us..this this and this statement..you cannot remember arh? me, looked at him and shake my head. dh, looked at me and shaked his head now i know why my dds always say cannot remember

btw kri, after i posted say bad in sci..i asked myself, only one subject bad meh :laugh: all bad ok. camping at home these 2 days. instant noodle for lunch. plus 1 packet xiaobaicai and sambal chiili salmon with lemon juice. i still like the lime juice, taste better.

:snuggles: this is a tough year for you...but you did manage to do most of what you planned. take a few days off next week before term 3.
don't get burnt out, remember the big picture ie PSLE. take care of yourself too.

Do you know the accurate way to compute the total score according to PSLE criteria?

the accurate way is, of cos, you know the entire nation cohort’s mean and SD which is impossible.


the other informal way is to guestimate based on total score for 4 subjects * 0.75 or 0.72 to derive the estimated PSLE score. Whether to * 0.75/0.72 depends on how you think is the difficulty level of your school papers vis-à-vis the rest of SG schools.

I used 0.75 for my gal and by so far, quite accurate.

Imp75, you mean add the whole score of 4 subjects and then multiplied by 0.75? Correct?
