            GohGoh:
Just wondering which is better way for my P2 child to learn Chinese Composition: private tutor or language centre?

She did very well for her P1 Chinese. I'm just preparing her for the future.
I hope my child can gradually love Chinese more. She does not read Chinese books outside of school, only English ones.

            Pls pm me.

Just my 2cent thought, 1 to 1 might not be a good choice. You have to see whether your son can focus better in 1 to 1 or in smaller groups. I tried 1 to 1 for my K1 son but he hates all the attention his tutor shower on him. He hates Chinese even more. Therefore I switched to a enrichment centre and now he improves in both writing and speaking. It takes time to make him like the language. Though travelling to and fro the centre can be hectic but it is worthwhile that he looks forward to go to the class.

From what I know P5 will increase in the weightage and difficulties in the Chinese paper. It will be more difficult than in P3/P4. Therefore I also enrol my P2 girl in the writing class to prepare her early.

Hi, I read through some forum saying that some non-SAP primary school starts higher Chinese before P5, is that true? How can I find out which school offers higher Chinese like as early as P2 or P3? Thanks!
