      rainbobo:
Hi, i would also like to see some review on Oasis Pri. We would be moving to Punggol next year and Oasis is the nearest Pri for us so far. My girl is studying in Peichun Public School P1 at the moment, i am really struggling should i change school for her next year or not. Meanwhile, i am searching for review on some school in punggol. Thanks.

Hihi rainbobo~ I have posted some questions for the parents of current students in Oasis but seems to have received no feedback. But I did a simple research and found out that Oasis Primary seems to have a lot of vacancies in 2015 (But it is a new school that opens in 2014/2015 so maybe it is too early to tell). And the current principal comes from Naval Base Primary School (You can check at Naval Primary School forum for the principal review or you can based on past ratings of Naval Base to rate the school). So to be frank, I would consider Oasis as my 2nd choice school. And since your girl is studying Pei Chun Public School, if I were you, I will not change her school at all (Pei Chun is a very very very good school). But the ultimate choice lies on you. Hope my 2 cents worth of opinion helps~ 😄

          Hi parents,

Do you know Oasis Primary School’s 2017 open house dates already? We wrote in to ask Oasis Pri last week but there is no response from them.

              This is a school.
There are many teachers / educators, some administrators, cleaners and security guards. Maybe, the school has a couple of technicians as well.

What the school is lacking is marketers, sales and business development, customer service, and the right to charge you a high fee.

Lacking in Facebook / Twitter / Instagram activities should seriously be the least of your worries.

I dont agreed. Slow in replying email is not a good sign especially it the job of adminisrators. In this media era, media is a means to communicate with parents what the school is actively involved. It not hard to post some school activities photo in fb.

Then maybe the doors to some of the popular schools would be open to people like me, since the social media postings of these schools equally suck.

I dont think so. Their media posting at least someone is maintaining. This is what moe encourage in case you dont know.

Unlike you, i hope all school regardless popular or less popular need to improve and move with the era.
Also i dont bashed and hoped other people cant get into popular school like what you posted.
Based on yr posting. I can guess what type of parents you are.

I agreed with samich. School should have more means of Channels like media for keeping parents involve or inform about their kids in school.

@Floppy you mentioned people "like you" above convo make you sound so self centered. All of us hope our children go to a good school but we should not hope other people kids dont get in a good school. Very selfish mindset.

Let not make sarcastic remarks to one another s. This is a support forum.

But I do agreed with samich that it is a good way if school do use media to keep parent updated just like my DS preschool. I can see whose birthday izzit with them enjoying cakes, excursions.
