Then will the test papers be the same or each elective will be tested differently given that the pace is different.

It will be different test papers.

If they perform well or do badly in their respective MO, will they be switched to a different MO class after the module has completed? Or are they stuck to the same MO module (non external and external)?
So far, never hear of switching MO class but I do know, for those who did well, will be asked to attend \"extra MO\" class, on top of those MO electives (both school & external).

Is SMO also by invitation? DS did not go for SMO.

It isn't by invitation. According to my daughter, all of them in the class are encouraged to take SMO by their math teacher.

If your DS is from NUSH, he should have received a letter from school to ask them to participate in SMO Junior, Senior &/or Open. Although it is optional to take all these but you are strongly encouraged to do so by the school.

Yes... I am good although age is catching up pretty fast..... :nailbite:
Imagine, we were chitchatting in this kiasu forum when our kids were in P4 and now they are 15 yrs old.
Which faculty is yr DS1 trying for? Also, does NUSH require students to take O Level MT? In DD's sch, it is a requirement to take MT before heading to JC level. Sch life for DD is busy as usual....She is having her 2 PPAs ( like mini exams ) today.

Ya, age is coming up for me too. DS1 most likely trying for medical or Science related courses.

Yes, NUSH students need to take MT. In fact, DS2 is having his O level MT oral next Monday. šŸ˜“

DS2 is also very busy, everyday till 6 pm. I guess that's school life for kids nowadays. 🤷
