Hi all, need some advice. DS is shortlisted for both HCI and RI interview/ camp. There is a clash of both events. Does it mean we have to make a choice to give one up?

For those selected for RI via maths domain, for the HDP it seems to me that it will be a written maths assessment paper as they r told to bring stationeries.


May I know if those selected for maths domain agree share my sentiment?

DS interview at 2+. Not sure if we can make it in time. This is so frustrating :slapshead:

eh maybe can do a makeup or can start late (or that's just plain wishful thinking?). if it's me, I will still ask admin to try my luck.


iRabbit, yes! my ds also registered for RI. At the last min, he insisted must try at least 2 sch. I said no, then he asked me is it becos i dun want to spend the money for him to register ? lol win lor, so i just do it, in case he blames me later on. But i dunno how this wild card is going to play out for him...

Ladylady, I hope it's a normal math test. Not one of those that ask them think up own formulas, written theory, teamwork solving etc. If the sch really want, I wld think there are tons of creative ('difficult') ways to assess the kids. but dun listen to my blabbing, its late now i'm tired so maybe just the usual math test format.

First of all, you must call both school to discuss your situation and see if there's a solution.
My guess is the chance to rearrange the HCI interview (push back or do it earlier on the same day) might be higher because 1-- it should be a small group interview session; 2-- There might be other pupils have to change their interview time too. But this is only my guess. You must call the school for advises.

Haha. It's the same every year. Think both schools are doing it on purpose, forcing you to make up your mind to decide between one only.
