The NUSH DSA round 2 is a camp, and the students have a very good time. Take it as a holiday science camp for them. -

I believe the higher charge is probably due to the consumables/disposables being used during the camp, especially for Chemistry, as such items cannot be reused again. The participants will receive a T-shirt, goody bag and lunch as part of the camp. There will be many student helpers involved in the camp too.BonaFides:

May I know typically how many students will be selected to go to the round 2 camp? The yearly vacancy around 170 student only right? This is DS's dream school & he's excited to get into 2nd round, but at the same time don't want him to get his hope too high though :xedfingers:

They will be divided into groups and they will go through a series of stations, e.g. Chemistry Station, which require them to perform tasks, mostly experiments whereby you need to put down your results and observations. Please read the instructions very carefully about what is required for each task.
As mentioned in the website, the school is looking out for qualities such as problem solving abilities, passion and motivation, independence, creativity and communication abilities.
