What is the date and time of your DS's audition?
My son applied for SJI DSA IP - Art. Called the school this morning, the person said he is on the list of \"To be called\" but till now had not received any call or email. Based on the information on their website, audition day is only on 15 Jul. If that is the case, then need to make a hard choice as he has another audition to go on this Sat morning.

The email states 'music audition and interview' on 15 July.
All the best to your son as well.

Finally received the email.
Had to call the school, and the lady answering the call insisted the emails had been sent out to both parents, but neither of us received. Asked for her help to resend to other email address and finally received.
Alas, as expected audition time clashes with another audition DS had to attend, and SJI made it clear in the notification that they would not accede to requests for alternative date for audition.
When DS comes home tonight, he would have to make the tough decision on which one to attend.

Can I ask trial, if selected then interview on another day? Not all done in a day?

It depends on individual schools. Some schools will have both trial and interview on the same day, some schools conduct interviews after being selected from trial, and yet some schools conduct interviews before trial/test... and some schools only have interviews and no trial/test.... maybe things will change next year or so since MOE will be centralizing the DSA process...

Hi, any parents with experience in RGS DSA.. will appreciate if can share share....


I am quite surprised RGS has called for interview before the subject test. Does all the kids have to take a Maths test after their interview?

What type of questions will be tested in the RGS DSA Maths test ? Will it be similar to RIPMWC type?

My DS attended RI DSA Maths test last Saturday. The test comprises of MO related questions (60 Marks) and the paper is bit tough but compare to RIPMWC it’s easy.

Paper 1 – one hour duration
25 Questions (30 Marks)

Paper 2 – one hour duration
5 Questions (30 Marks)
