at Sec (3 & 4) here in St Nick Sec -

between History & Geography, these 2 subjects :
more students tend to or prefer to take History or Geog ?
which subject, is easier to study or handle ?

      Thanks, for feedback.
      Appreciated

For my cohort, more people take full Geography than full History. I'm not sure whether one is easier to handle than the other (it's all a matter of preference) though. For me, I took Geography as I was having problems with the Source Based Questions in History (unfortunately for me, Social Studies still has them)

Hi, I am new to this thread. As my girl has just been offered CO thru DSA-IP (Leadership), will like to find out more on the IP track in SNGS. What I understand is IP student has to be independent learner but other than this, how is the stress level, teaching method and any support from teachers if the child is unable to cope and etc.?

hearsay that St Nick (IP) Teachers don’t teach much, because IP uses a different pedagogy.

                Is this True ?

Can IP students (year 1 to year 4) shed light on how are you all taught in class, the method practised / adopted by the IP Teachers here, for subjects like Maths and Sciences ? Thank You

This year (2017 Psle batch, born 2005), under DSA Academic domain :

how many P6 students received CO for each category under Bilingual, Maths and Science domain ?

Is it single-digit, less than 4, per category / domain ?

                  Anyone received WL ?

(this year 2017 : DSA quota drastically reduced, across all domain, compared to past years)

                    Sorry

for SNGS (IP) Curriculum / Programme, direct express into Eunoia Junior College in Year (5 & 6) :
under Academic domain, after checking, realized that there isn't any (Maths & Science) 2017 DSA domain, only got Bilingualism domain, Sports, Leadership domain.

                        Hi,

                        a)
can the IP students here share how intensive & rigorous is the the IP curriculum, starting from Y1 upto Y4, leading up to Eunoia JC ?
                        (Y1 : Year 1)

                        b)
After EOY, at end of Sec 2 (Y2) :-
roughly, per batch : how many students from the IP track request for transfer back to O level track ?

vacancies are created : once an IP student managed to transfer successfully to O level track.

roughly, per batch : how many students from the O level track have been "invited" by school, to transfer to IP track ?

(EOY : End of Year SA2 exam)
