why church can get priority ? i can understand community leaders and PV getting priortty

but why church also can get priority ?
then all those of us no believe in christian last priority ? queue far far far far behind ?

its like the tissue paper choping seats in hawker centres
I have no priority so I queue long long to get in. Worth it and I understand why church goers have priority...nothing like tissue paper chopeing seats.

Mission schools have a very long history and their day to day teachings are not only academic based. Mission sch mah.
We have completed our analysis of Phase 2A(1). The data can be found https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/2017-p1-registration-phase-2a2-analysis-and-predictions/.

It's going to be a nail biting session for Phase 2A2 for some schools. I feel that the dynamics between 2A1 and 2A2 may have changed, with more applicants joining in at 2A1 instead of lucking it out at 2A2.

The dynamics are different for different schools. ACS Primary, for instance, has quite a bit lesser Phase 2A(1) applicants compared to last year. CHJI SNGS, on the other hand, has a stronger Phase 2A(1). Maybe it depends on the groundswell of sentiment towards the schools at any given point of time.
Only Nanyang and Nan Hua will be balloting this round (Phase 2A2).

SNGS and RSS escape by the skin of their teeth (with 1 seat to spare).

I still think more parents are joining the alumni association to \"play safe\" rather than lucking it out at P2A2 - hence less applicants this Phase.

Hi … for the vacancies left at 2A2, does that all gets carry over to 2B and add-on the 20 reserved to it?

No. Vacancies left at phase 2A2 will be divided equally between 2B and 2C and then add-on the 20 reserved seats.

If odd number of seats are left, then the extra one goes to which phase? Even 1 seat matters:)

from my understanding, twins/triplets are considered under 1 seat....if that extra 1 seat goes to triplets for eg, imagine the happiness.

                      Not so simple i think.

If no balloting, the 3 children will take up 3 vacancies.

If there is a ballot, then the 3 children share one balloting chance. If their ball is picked, 3 vacancies will be taken up. However, the special rule is if they are the last ball to be picked, then all 3 will get in.

But i stand corrected. Maybe someone can clarify?

I don't think so leh. They're only counted as 1 person if there's a balloting (eg at 2B): they can choose to share 1 ball (and that's usually the case because parents don't want to split the logistics if 1 doesn't get picked). If the shared ball is picked, all the family get in. But they will take up extra seats, leaving fewer left at 2C.

                        Can anybody verify?
