It appears that reserved seats under phase2C for ACSP is 39 this year, vs 20 last year. Does that mean there is good chance that ACSP may not need to ballot under phase 2C for SC within 1km? Where can check the number of applicants under phase 2C in the past years?

      Thanks very much!

Past year data is just a gauge, but you'll have to take account the vacancies in ACSJ (for both 2B & 2C) and SJIJ (for 2C). Since there are more vacancies in ACSP this year, many parents who initially intend to register in ACSJ might bite the bullet and register in ACSP instead. This will increase the possibility for balloting within 1-2 km. But I won't be surprised if more parents <1km decide to join in, hence balloting <1km might happen.

Seems like acsj is not disclosing the figures over the phone until after 430pm. I just called and asked. Those who wish to know have to go down to the school personally. …

              ACS Junior should be 35, 5, 16. Total 56 for 51 places. ACS primary is 30, I think 4 and 8 for 40 places.

Does that mean both ACSJ and ACSP need to ballot under phase 2B?
                :thankyou:

                  Does this mean 35 applicants <1km, 5 applicants 1-2km, and the other 16 >2km?

For ACS Primary how does that compute? All <1km accepted?

For both schools, all <1km and 1km to 2km entered without balloting. Applicants > 2km require balloting.

Thanks! Really appreciate such information. This year the threads have been so quiet!! Everyone change strategy? Or don’t come here for information anymore? I am so stress over my turn next week!

Dear, please don't hang all your hopes on KSP updates. The best place to be is on the ground. That's where all the live updates are. So be prepared to hang around the school until 4.30pm. I pity those people who really cannot be there (eg sole caregiver stuck at home with a sick child, or napping child), but even they cannot expect updates via proxy. Last year very suay, KSP forum undergoing major revamp on day 3 of phase 2C, lagi zero updates.
