Of course I remembered.
Thanks Lexy, you remembered! Yes worth my gamble to give up NYPS for both the 2B attempts.Lexy:
Congratulations!
You made it! Last sjij, this year ijtp. Good planning. Also you play it fair and openly. Got guts
Actually my hubs did asked if we should try NYPS for 2A(2) last week; I told him don't waste time lah plus if she gets in then my whole school run logistics goes haywire. I did tell him if he misses this whole P1 registration; he can try again in 5 years' time for my youngest girl!
Somehow everything fall nicely for you. 2A2 NYPS doesn't seem possible unless you shift, of course you can do 2A1 but that's not the point. The main thing is you know exactly what you want and plan it out and stick to the plan. Kudos!
Tell your husband to apply phase 1, then withdraw and apply 2a2οΌballot fail then apply 2b again, if cannot get, can proceed with your 2c choice. One full cycle for him to play. :frustrated:
Give thanks to the one above who keep watch over you and your family. -

Thanks Chief. Do you have the 2017 applicants number against each schools? -

You meant this year number? It's already compared with last year's numbers. I don't think Chief has the crystal ball to foresee next week's applicants numberChiefKiasu:

Anyone know if pei hwa releases distance based application stats during phase 2C? Son registered for keming under 2A2 and considering to withdraw to try pei hwa since itβs within 1km. Advice appreciated. Thanks!

We both knew NYPS 2A(2) was out; he said just try; you never know? I said don't waste time; later if she gets in then we have to make additional trip to withdraw and besides; the girl has decided she wants IJTP!
Oh no 2A(1) for NYPS too cos I don't wanna pay that $1k!
Haha in 5 years' time if he misses it; it he can go and do the withdrawal after Phase 1; try 2A(2); fail, then 2B at IJTP; fail, we can try 2C again cos we are <1km! But I'm pretty sure come then he won't want to go through all the trouble!

Is it written anywhere on moe website where the most intense "wars" are happening or is the only way to find out by calling up the school or heading down personally?
Like for eg, St Hildaβs balloting is for which category <1Km / 1-2 / >2KM and how many people are fighting over how many slots? -

MOE website doesn't provide breakdown on the registration numbers. You have to call or be at the school to find out.Is it written anywhere on moe website where the most intense \"wars\" are happening or is the only way to find out by calling up the school or heading down personally?

That said, for popular schools like St Hilda, you can safely assume everyone who registered is a SC living within 1km. Don't be surprised if some schools turn away or reject application from parents living > 1km.
