Dear parents, can I ask on the academic requirements on ACSJ, as my 2 friends gave me totally different information.
One saying his P3 boy in ACSJ got hardly no homework.
Another one saying his P1 boy needs 2 hours everyday for homework & review, and teachers are very demanding
Now not sure which one is the more "common" case for ACSJ… Thanks a lot. -
My P1 boy has hardly any homework. Maybe once a week and it’s what they couldn’t finish during school hours (da bao). His teacher is strict in maintaining classroom order, but that’s different from demanding (academic-wise) I think.

My nephew is in this school. He didn't have much homework in P1 as he mostly finished his work in school. A lot depends on the individual child - some finish what they can in school while others bring it home and need to be supervised. Some are quicker to catch on while others need more explanation. Some have better memories and don't need much repetition.Dear parents, can I ask on the academic requirements on ACSJ, as my 2 friends gave me totally different information.

The one spending 2 hours everyday for homework might be from a neighborhood school. Definitely not ACSJ. -
Hi, would like to do a quick check here. Based on the statistics on MOE website, there seems to be vacancies for ACSJ. Is there usually a large number of registrations on the last day of phase 2C? Am staying >2km from ACSJ so would like to gauge the probability of getting in. Thanks!
