"Even so, a child who gains priority admission into a school through his/her distance category is required to reside at the address used for registration for at least 30 months from the commencement of the Primary One Registration Exercise on 29 June 2017. If this condition is not met, MOE reserves the right to transfer the child to another school with vacancies, as the priority admission to the first school was based on the declared address used for registration." -

I just called MOE again to confirm this, and they gave the same answer. We can still change address this month, as long as our NRICs show the new address \"at the point\" of registration, which is 25-Jul for Phase 2C.Called MOE hotline to ask before.
They don't care when exactly you move in but your NRIC must show the correct address on the day you register. Which means you need the Tenancy Agreement or Completion of Sale done, then change NRIC address before you register. After you get the seat, you should be living in that address till end of P2. -
If we are yet to move into the new house, we are allow to use the sales agreement to proof right?

Depends.
Refer to MOE FAQ on their website. -

Not Sales Agreement. P1 registration is based on parents ID card. Both your Identity Cards must be registered address reflected. They won't bother to read your SA. Hence, once u've bought or rent, better change address with police post immediately. Notification letters will be sent to that address. Couples cannot hv different addresses. They'll withdraw yr P1 application.
All the best! -

Not true. For some cases in which you have yet to collect keys or yet to move in, a S&P ageeement or OTP can be accepted. Refer to MOE FAQ on address for details.Sk82:

MMM:
Typo error. They are trying to buy a apartment within 1km of the school. Then rent out the house while they still continue to stay in their current flat. Wonder if there are any issues with this.
You can't rent out the house before the 30-month period is over. -

Floppy, you're right. For uncompleted developments, the S&P document is used for registration purposes. What was I thinking - my mind stuck on Tenancy document, which is not used bcoz after TA stamped, then change address quickly at police post & i/c will be used. -
I used my existing house (within 1km) as address for P1 registration and I got into the school without the need to ballot - However those outside 2km distance need to ballot.
Question : Do I need to stay 30 months in my existing house? Or can I shift to another place so long it is that is within 2km?

From my understanding, it's minimum 30 months stay at the residential address used for registration. Doesn't matter if the new place you wanna move to is closer to or further away from the school. Can only move after the 30 months period is up. If I did not understand correctly, please enlighten.I used my existing house (within 1km) as address for P1 registration and I got into the school without the need to ballot - However those outside 2km distance need to ballot.

I do have a query myself. The 30 months starts from Jul or Jan of the following year?
