Ya we were all in close succession. It was extremely exciting. Live drama for everyone watching. Every new one entering the room caused more swearing lol. Expect the same this year. And 1-2km, please prepare an escape route!

I’m asking for next year’s registration: based on this year’s outcome, would you risk balloting at phase 2B and try again for phase 2C if can’t get in for ballot? Or would you go for a sure-in phase 2B, still good school but further away from home?

Hi yes I think she should be eligible. Quite unreasonable to turn a child away just because missed 1 injection. I think the list of immunizations printout must be submitted but it doesn't need to be complete.

When my boy started P1 this year, the School Health Service nurses came round to all the schools to do health checkup. And also give any missed immunizations. A few of my son's classmates took their 2nd MMRV shot because they'd missed it during preschool years.

But please better double check with your school before registration day. At least it gives u peace of mind.

Next year is for Dragon babies right? Everybody will tell u just go for the sure-in option. Otherwise, you'd be looking at 2B ballot, 2C ballot, 2C(S) ballot...then have to beg MOE allocate u a school...just...stay safe.

Thanks Zac's Mom. The thing is my first choice 2B school is just opposite my mom's house so easy to fetch. The sure-in 2B is much further :(. Don't know want to gamble n hope for the best of not

this year rabbit year, next year dragon year.
if can't get in at 2B, 2C will be untouchable especially if staying more than 1km for the usual hot schools.
whether it's for this year or the next, don't spoil your chance at 2C...otherwise you will definitely be miserable having to settle for a 2Cs. balloting is not something everyone can stomach.

                      Too vague.
How far is far? 1km, 2km or 10km?
And balloting in Phase 2B at what distance this year?
Lastly, the schools? They are not all the same.

Have you got the print out yet? I got mine from polyclinic after the last compulsory vaccination was administered. If you have the print out, it means you're safe. I can't remember whether polio is compulsory. Better check.
